What is Disease Anyway?
“Everybody has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth.”
“It ain’t what you know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
The secrets of healthy living are being hidden from you. Today’s doctors lack the holistic and timeless wisdom about how to achieve good health. Our public schools are funded by donations from big drug companies—companies who profit from selling band-aid solutions to sick people and not from healing or curing disease.
As an educated and experienced professional in the topic of holistic health, I’m shocked at what people don’t know about becoming and staying healthy. What’s more shocking is what people “know” about being healthy, that just isn’t true.
This is why most of us are confused and unprepared when disease strikes. We’re physically, psychologically, and financially unprepared. We assume disease is something that happens to people who smoke, drink, never exercise, and who eat fast food several times a week.
It’s also easy to assume that we’re in good health and that we don’t need to make any drastic changes. Then, one day, everything changes, and suddenly we’re not just diseased, we’re diseased and confused. Disease comes upon us like a Tsunami, leaving us scrambling for answers. In most cases, what we find is conflicting and confusing information about the causes of disease and how to treat it.
The purpose of this book is to make sure that this either doesn’t happen to you, or that you know exactly what to do when it does.
